HUGS Foundation's founder and CEO was personally responsible for the rescue of Annie Abott Lagarto from an Austin Human Trafficking ring and getting her back to her home in the Philippines. However she was going blind and in need of surgery. Though we managed to pay 2/3rds of the cost Annie needs $1,500 to pay off her bill.
